Dean Art Studios Residency

The Dean Art Studios is a new, multi-disciplinary hub located on Chatham Row in the heart of Dublin city centre. It is a practical response to the contraction of accessible, affordable city workspaces for artists of all disciplines, due in part to the loss of cultural spaces through development.

Both established and emerging practitioners across visual arts, literature, photography, sound, music and more taking up yearly residencies. The Studio is fully funded by The Dean Dublin and Press Up Hospitality Group, with studios and office spaces gifted to artists, cultural institutions and arts organisations.

IMMA is delighted to join this dynamic and exciting creative collective as lead cultural institution partner. IMMA and The Dean Dublin are partnering through IMMA’s Residency by programming four artistic practices through the provision of studio spaces at this dynamic city centre location. The gift of four studios from the Dean to IMMA has enabled IMMA to extend its support for creative practices by awarding year-long residencies to Elayne Harrington, Brian Teeling, Salvatore of Lucan and Thaís Muniz
